Dakota Flat Track is a 1/8-mile asphalt drag strip.
We use a Chrondek timing system from Daktronics.
All runs are logged and individually printed for racers.
All time slips are picked by the racer. Dakota Flat Track is not responsible for time slips not picked up after your run. If you believe a problem has occurred bring time slip and opponent to the tower. Track officials will make the call on a rerun. Track officials from the starting line and tower watch each run. All racers are given a time trial run on an elimination day. Car count will increase trial runs. The track will be tacked for your trial runs, so your dial-in can be as close as you feel your car will run. If rain would occur between time trials and elimination rounds the track officials will make the call on track prep. Dakota Flat Track officials and management work long hours and make calls for your safety. We want everyone to enjoy the racing weekend. |
